Thonet Dining Chair Set of 8

A set of eight bentwood originalThonet Industries dining chairs and made in the style of Jacob and Joseph Kohn. The chairs feature curved bentwood frames with upholstered seats, reflecting the tradition of steam-bent furniture developed in Central Europe at the turn of the twentieth century.

The frames have been restored by Cresswell Restoration and the seats newly upholstered by KHG Upholstery in a handsome Dedar stripe composed of cotton and linen.

The original seat with the Thonet sticker has been replaced with furniture-grade plywood.
