Scandinavian Rocking Chair
Description

Scandinavian Beech Rocking Chair, c. 1960s

Wide ribbons of steam-bent beech curve into a tall, cradling back, above a slatted seat and sculpted paddle arms. The back legs sweep straight into the runners for a slow, steady rock. The honey tone has warmed beautifully over six decades.
