Elizabeth Daybed
Description

The Elizabeth Day Bed evolved from a piece originally created for a commercial project and was later adapted for residential use. The proportions were refined and the cushion construction softened to make it an easy place to lounge, read, or rest.

The frame is available in walnut or oak with a matte finish. The cushion features a poly insert with a down layer on the top, along with bolsters filled with a 27/75 down and feather blend.

The upholstery is a wool and linen textile with a subtle denim-like texture that feels relaxed and durable. The end rails reference a detail commonly used in boat building, a small nod to the craft behind the piece.

Fabricated by Davis Boat Building in Belfast, Maine and upholstered by Pistol Pete’s Upholstery in Yarmouth, Maine.
